Evaluate Options to update SCM 7.0 (connected with EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0) to EHP3 or EHP4

Hi,

I was able to look at the Product Availability Matrix for EHP3 and EHP4 for SCM 7.0 but it does not clearly indicate if HANA is mandatory/prerequisite in order to apply these Enhancement Packs for SCM 7.0 SPS6. We are currently on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6.

I am trying to evaluate the latest EHP I can apply on SCM 7.0 which does not need HANA DB right away but comes with the ability to support it in order to accommodate future S/4 integration.

Current environment:

SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6

SCM 7.0 SPS6

Option 1 SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 6 --> SCM 7.0 EHP 3

Based on future prospect of integrating with S/4 HANA, SPS 10+ is recommended
