SRM Shopping cart inquire workflow process

Dear All,

We would like to know standard behavior of SRM Shopping cart in case of Inquire. Please provide your valuable inputs on below scenarios.

1. Requisitioner sends the SC to first completion approver. He approves it. Then shopping cart goes to another completion approver. Second completion approver sends back with inquire option. SC goes back to requisitioner. Requistioner accepts the Shopping cart as it is without pressing edit button. SC goes back to second completion approver. I think this is correct behavior.

2. Requisitioner sends the SC to first completion approver. He approves it. Then shopping cart goes to another completion approver. Second completion approver sends back with inquire option. SC goes back to requisitioner. Requistioner clicks on edit button in shopping cart, without changing anything it then click on proceed button. . SC goes back to second completion approver.

Not sure its correct behavior. I thought in this case it should have restarted from the start that is SC should go to first completion approver.

SC goes back to requisitioner. Requistioner clicks on edit button in shopping cart, change the price and then click on proceed button. SC goes back to second completion approver. Not sure its correct behavior. I thought in this case it should have restarted from the start that is SC should go to first completion approver.

Can you please help us to understand the exact standard behavior.
