How to disable delete button on shopping cart lines for which there is a PO line created

Requestors can delete a shopping cart line which has a follow-on document (Purchase Order) created.

Buyers want to restrict this behavior. They don't requestors to have a control of deleting the shopping cart line in case there is a purchase order created from that shopping cart line since Buyers control the purchase orders and they coordinate with Suppliers.

How to restrict this standard behavior?

Dear Customer,

The working is indeed a standard SRM behavior. SC items can be deleted until only one follow-on doc is created. Once there is second follow-on document >> then the deletion will be disabled.

that is, to restrict the deletion >> you might disable the delete button with the help of the metadata.
