Hi,
I am quite new in this kind of stuff.
We used to have a SapRouter on our old R3 installation. I'd like to set it up again.
We get last Cryptolib and saprouters files.
Old saprouter servers don't exist any more
Question 1 : Can I reuse our existing SapRouter hostname even if new 'internal network' hostname is different.
As I understand I just need to ask for the according certificate and it should go on, hostname is just in view to have a hostname.xxx.sap.de name.
Question 2 : Is there any way to test the sap router connection in a 'basic' way , setting up a new host on sap gui for exemple.
Finally If anyone has a good tutorial, I will be happy.
Thanks in advance
Hi Friend,
You can use the existing host name , provided it (your new "internal network' )should be properly registered with SAP .
Basic test of SAP router conection is SM59 > ABAP Connection > SAP OSS > test connection .
For any documents, refer https://service.sap.com/saprouter .
Regards,
Nibu Antony
