If memory has been increased and the issue persists, it may be one of two reasons. Either there is not enough physical memory for the request or you may have reached the scalability of a Standalone Enterprise Manager (EM).

There are a number of limits to a Standalone EM such as number of metrics being collected, the number agents connected, Java heap space, SmartStor duration (time to write to EM DB) and harvest duration (time the EM takes to aggregate 15 second interval metrics to write to the EM).
SAP can analyze your EM to see what limits are being breached if you attach the perflog.txt (available in your /log of the EM home directory) if you create a case under XX-PART-WILY.
If these limits are being reached then the recommendation is to create a clustered EM scenario or "Manager of Managers" (MOM). Install an additional or more EMs and appoint one as the MOM and the other(s) as "Collector(s)". Cluster EMs enable much higher scalability and will ensure that Introscope will performance as expected.
