SVT : Standard emails are not generating even though volume is tracked and monitored

Hello EHS Experts,

Customer requested to implement standard functionality of SVT to monitor the volume through email when it is exceeded. And this configuration is already implemented in our Pharma system.
Here i followed end to end steps, configured properly but emails are not generating for substances when quantity is exceeded. But these substances are observed in CCRCT_PUPL table and CBRC20 transaction.

I assume i am doing something wrong while creating test scenario.

We have two systems EHS and LOGISTICS system.

Prerequisites i followed :-

1) Chosen one SVT relevant material ( Logistics system )

2) Created a PO with that material ( Logistics system )

3) Opened the real substance by using above material ( EHS system )

4) Maintained list substances in exact composition based on products wrt configuration, usage - INTERNAL : REG_WORLD.( EHS system )

5) For listed substance REACH regulation is maintained in property level and quantity is also maintained. ( EHS system )

6) Triggered RREGCH_FILL program with REACH regulation ( Logistics system )

7) Observed the relevant listed substance in CCRCT_EHS_COMP table ( Logistics system )

😎 Triggered RREGCH_VT program with REACH regulation ( Logistics system )

9) Observed the relevant listed substance in CCRCT_PUPL table ( Logistics system )

10) And triggered monitoring tcode CBRC20 and records are displayed with RED flag which indicates exceeded records.

11) Now when i check SOST or the Inbox of mail address haven't received any mails.

Please help me with your valuable inputs.

can you please show how you have done the customizing for the so called "online" check?

Reason is: according to quick analysis: the email will be only triggered if the set up there is correct (you can analyse this by yourself. Do a "where use list" for SAP Table CCRCC_ERRMAIL; you will find some function modules in which this is used).

In the standard system, the system runs the online checks within the following applications:

● Purchase order

● Purchase requisition

● Outbound delivery

● Sales order

● Production order

Possible follow-on actions are:

● The system displays a message.

● The system sends the message as an SAPmail.

So check your configuration.

regarding step 11: I assume you have checked in logistic system? (Check of transaction "SOST"?)

Honestly: we are not using SAP eMail standard approach. We have used this "long ago" but the email was not "niece" and therefore we skipped this and using now a customer specific solution.

I can not remember anymore if the eMail will flow to an "eMail" box or if it is only available in the "BUsiness Workplace" of the user who should receive the mail; but the mail should be visible in "SOST" and you did not found it.

The topic is not addressed often here.. I need to check again the relevant EHS customizing.

But overall.. you have set up the process as expected. So I assume something is missing in the configuration.

Thank you for your reply.

Step 11 - I have checked in both the systems ( EHS & Logistic )

As per my Business requirement they just need a notification email incase if any volume exceed. That is the reason i have approached standard method.

And regarding the mail - You are right, it should visible in SOST incase if any issue with recipient email address.
Not sure what is wrong in the configuration.

It would be really helpful if you reply back once after your check.
