Suggestion on Label printing with different printer models

Hi Experts,

Scenario: Our client is using different type of printer manufacturer for e.g. ZEBRA, TOSHIBA, TSC, Intermec and Honeywell and models are also different. We have designed label using the Adobe life cycle designer tool version-11 supported and downloaded by SAP marketplace.

Issue: Label that we have designed is working perfectly fine with ZEBRA and TSC printer but when we are trying the same label template(.XDP) file on TOSHIBA and other printers same XDP file is not supported. so for eg: for TOSHIBA printers we had to redesign the whole label in the Adobe life cycle designer.

So can anyone please help us if this is correct approach we are doing or do we have to design the label according to printer manufacturer supported. if anyone has worked different printer model and designing part of the labels.

Please help with your suggestion and experience.
