SAP DM: Use OEE Time Model Elements to calculate and send Activity Confirmations to SAP ERP

Hello,

we are at a highly automated machine workcenter and using the Order POD for Production Orders and I am looking for a way to report the activty confirmations (Setup Time, Machining Time, Labor time) to ERP without entering the the values manually in the Plugin "Activity Confirmation". The idea is the following process:

- We use the Plugin "Start" to start working on the SFC. At the the time the Resource status should change to a predefined status represening a loading time. Of course the reason code will be assigned to the OEE Time Model element "Loading time".

- After loading the machine setter is changing the machine status to productive. In the background the accured setup time (time between pressing start until changing the machine status) should be sent to ERP as activity "Setup time".

- Simliar logic should apply for time in production.

Do you see this as a realistic way with the production designer? Or do you see another way to realise the integration of machine status and Activity Confirmation

Hi,

I suggest you evaluate using Time Tracking capability via APIs/Services in Production Processes, see Labor On and Manage Time Tracking as well.

Hope it helps,

This helps a lot. Thank you Manoel. My only remaining point is if I can interlink the time Time tracking functionalities with the "Resource Status with Reason Code" plugin for the correct OEE calculation. E.g. I start the time tracking "Start Setup". As a consequence the resource status should swith to a reason code representing a setup. Stop time tracking for setup should change the machine status to "productive"...

You should be able to easily interlink them using Production Processes. Br, Manoel
