Error in data interface SD - EHS

Dear all,

I've been handling with errors that come to an Outlook mailbox concerning the "Error in data interface SD - EHS" for SDSs, i.e. mails showing:

Reason for distribution:

Distribution reason category (REASONTYP) = SD_CALL

Distribution reason type(REASONCAT) = DELIVERY

Business transaction triggering distrib. (REASONBPR) MSDS_DIST

-Document data:

Document type xxx (...)

However, it is quite tedious if I have to extract the data manually and one-by-one, from Outlook error mail, concerning the material number and other parameters.

Do you know from where this report comes from in SAP? I would need to find an easier and less time-consuming way of extracting the data I need other than going through the large amount of these type of mails that I find every day.

Thank you very much!

Hi Isabel,

These errors come from the SD to EHS Interface.
On every line item of a delivery (or order - depending on your customizing) the system checks if it is a material that requires an SDS to be sent. If so, it tries to create a report shipment entry - which might fail and lead to the errors you are seeing in your mailbox.

You should be able to see exactly these error messages using TR DGSD (or run report RC1SDAPL) directly in SAP.

Hope this helps
