I have a specific requirement to ensure that an optional field is filled with value if the parent field value is "Yes".
For example, for my custom task, the MDF is configured as such:
- Do you need a car?
- Car Number
The first field is configured as mandatory with values "Yes" or "No".
The second field is configured as optional string field.
If a user select "Yes" for the first field, I would need a rule to ensure that the second field is not equal to null.
I have created a business rule and place it under Save rules and Validate rules. However, it is not working. May I check if business rule is supported for custom task. If not, is there any way I can achieve the requirement?
