Are facing employee with invalid manager data, leading to employee unable to have any approval accross the organization being approved until :

1 - the employee is detected

2 - the manager hire date is less or equal to employee hire date or a valid manager is chosen instead.

Dear pboulicaut,

When using data correction to postpone a manager hire date the direct reports will have the manager update based on your "Automated Daily Hierarchy Adaptation" job.

When the job runs it will pick and correct possible manager's wrong assignments. Depending on the set up of this job under the Position Management Settings, the manager update will happen.

when a new employee and a new manager are hired on the same date then manager hire date is changed for futur hire date the employee job info his not updated with a new record on the new manager hire date : is it a bug on « automated daily hierarchy adaptation » job or a known gap because the system doesn’t know which manager info to use from the employee hire date until the manager hire date ?

Can i open a ticket or the support is going to tell me it’s working as design

In this use case, the manager will be corrected on the future hire date. You can open a ticket, but it may be like you said, working as per design.
