basic start date in planned order not correct

hi everyone we have ran into an issue.

a purchased material lead time is 90 days 

a PIRs is attached with requiremnet date 20240725, when MRP run, a planned order is generated, but the Basic order start date is not correct, it is in a same day with order end date. 

please give some guidance, many thanks!

Hi,

Planned delivery time is applicable for procurement proposals generated for externally procured materials, for example for purchase requisition. In your case the material procurement type is F.

You can convert the planned order to Purchase requisition to see whether the planned delivery date updates there, or re run MD02 with by setting the parameter “create purchase requisition” to 1 or 2.

thanks @arjuna_bandara, I finally figure out the reason for this issue. It is caused by coding enhancement on saving planned order. So, I will close this thread here.
