Alternative to sharing contracts

Hi Experts,

We need to solution a usecase which has BP heirarchy i.e. Parent and Child relationship. Subscription contracts needs to be created for each child.Usage is collected from each child and tier level pricing is maintained. i.e. usage qty from all childs is summed up monthly and charged accordingly as per tier pricing. This involves counters in CC and can be achieved using sharing contracts in SOM and CC.

As there are more than 3000 childs per Parent , 3000 contracts will be created, we foresee performance issues in CC , addtional object like sharing contracts and prodcuts will be required to be created.

Is there any better way to solution such usecase or any one encountered similar usecase

Hello,

according to your description, you have to use shared allowance and account split feature.

By doing this, you have several subscriber accounts per business partner which means that this BP can be handle by several thread in parallel.

Thanks Eric,

But with shared allowance there is limitation that re rating cannot be done. So is there any other alternative .
