Introduction of new data provider for getting preference rules -Compatibility check

Hi GTS Experts ,

We have a requirement from client to introduce a new data provider bundesanzeiger for getting the preference rules. Currently customs info is providing the preference rules and client want to update Bundesanzeiger files along with the existing files

I want to know the compatibility of files if both the files are uploaded in the system will it have impact in the preference determination .As far as I know new files will over write the existing files if both file content are of the same file type and if different how it is going to impact in the preference calculation

Reason for onboarding new data provider is to save costs.

Request you to provide your thoughts on it.

Hi Jaiji,

You can do that .But you have to check whether naming conventions are same in both providers or else it will create duplicate entries .

For Eg: Consider EUUK agreement

Customs info Agreement name in file _EUUK

Bundesanzeiger Agreement name in file _EUGB

If you upload both the files , it will create two agreements .

So you have to rename in Bundesanzeiger file as _EUUK and also their country groups.
