All BITs are not generating for subscriber mapping table from SAP CC

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to generate BITs from SAP CC from subscriber mapping table. I need to generate all BITs at once on contract activation based on the details in subscriber mapping table. I am using one-shot rate in CC to generate all BITs at once. However, CC is generating BITs for only 1st line item i.e. for 1st Jan 2024 (refer attached screenshot) maintained in the subscriber mapping table and not the other line i.e. 1st June'24.

I need to generate BITs for all line items at once. Can someone please guide?

Hello,

First keep in mind that my answer is a generic one without knowledge about your business.

you are using a "oneshot" event in order to rate an event which covers a period (one year in your case). I recommend you to use a recurring event.

By this way, you can generate an item for the first  6 months ( select "every 6th month" and "Charged at the start of the period" in the "Advanced" Tab ) and a second one for the second 6 months (set "Prepaid Period Number" to 1 in the "Advanced" Tab )

Best regards,

Eric F.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the recommendation!

However, as per the business model the subscriber mapping table is supposed to have custom billing i.e. the period could be quarterly, yearly or half-yearly as in this case. And, for all those different periods all the BITs should be generated in advance at once. Hence, I didn't use the recurring in the first place.

Can you please suggest something else in this case?

Thanks

Hello,

in this case you can use Allowances and set one allowance per item. Each allowance will be in charge to generate its own BIT. This is the most configurable feature of SAP CC.

Sure, will try with using allowances. Thanks!
