Hi Experts,
Need your help on WM Material staging for production order. Currently we had EHP7 upgrade on our system. Then we found out that there is an error during WM Material staging. The supply area does not appear in the material staging screen in production order.
We had maintained master data as follow:
1. Create supply area (PK05)
2. Maintain control cycle (LPK1)
3. Assign supply area in the work center (CR02)
Before the upgrade, material staging works just fine but after the upgrade, the supply area does not appear after executing the WM Material staging. We also could not do material staging LP12 since the supply area is missing.
Could any of you help on this?
Regards,
Linda
Dear Linda,
This seems to be an upgrade problem, and for many upgrade problems solutions are readily available on SAP Market Place.
For your problem please explore the below SAP notes, I have checked and these should be applicable to EHP 7 SAP_APPL component version 617. I believe you need to apply the SAP note 2227459 via transaction SNOTE to solve your problem .
Normally PP functional consultants do not apply SAP notes via SNOTE, so you may seek assistance from your BASIS team for note application.
2227459 - Missing production supply area in the production order reservations
2038993 - CO02: Incorrect determination of requirement quantity when using warehouse management
Please check if this works and close this thread so it can be useful for others in future.
Have a good day

Ameya B.

Hi Ameya,
Yes I did create a new production order after applying note. The condition that we face now is that this only happens if a company has multiple plants that share the same warehouse no. The first plant will work just fine but the second plant has the problem of missing production supply area.
Regards,
Linda
