Why is the purchasing text not saved in info records?

Using the Change Purchasing info records app, the purchasing text of an info record is maintained. After saving the changes, it is observed that despite of this, no texts were stored.

Why is that?

Purchasing texts are saved only when in addition to the general data of the info record, the purchasing data (purchasing organization, plant) is specified at the selection screen in the Change Purchasing Info records app.

After this, the purchasing text will be saved for the specific plant/purchasing organization.
