Hi i have an another question.
My situation is this. I have studied Industrial Engineering and didnt find a job. Now I have startet a SAP MM course at a external training center in Germany, bonn. So its not a course at sap original but at least I will make the same Exam with the user certification.
How I said in the first question, Firstly I make a SAP MM user certi. The certification name is: C_UCMM_15 .
After that I will make a SAP MM Procurement Consulting course. In that course there is a ABAP Modul in Foundation lvl.
Consulting Certi Names:
C_TS410_1610 SAP Certified Application Associate - Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA
C_TSCM52_67 SAP Certified Application Associate - Procurement with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP7
So I make all these courses because I want to become a SAP Consulting but in the programming language abap and all the new technologies.
Is my learning path well for my goal? I thought, that I do firstly the User Certi, then make the Consulting Certi in MM. After this 2 certi I want reply to Jobs SAP ABAP or other backend Jobs. Because I have then a good Knowledge with the SAP System and learn then the background technologies.
Is my learning path right? Should I go another path? Or should I make only a ABAP training like the certification:
C_TAW12_750 SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.50
Hi user4sap,
First, I think being an engineer gives you an advantage in this competitive market.
With the education background that you have, you are in a position to apply your knowledge (Industrial Engineering) where very few are able to. And that is definitely not a commodity.
Start by looking into the Value chain of engineering & discrete manufacturing companies.
I would focus on the following if I were you:
- Product Lifecycle Management
https://training.sap.com/content/plm-ele
- Manufacturing (MII)
https://training.sap.com/trainingpath/Applications-Planning,+Manufacturing,+Execution-SAP+ME+and+MII
- R&D
I would consider an SAP learning hub license, so you can take the e-learnings.
Comments on your post:
Business process integration will not give you the depth you will require. You need to go to the bottom of the solutions to leverage your business knowledge.
The procurement training is not a bad thing, but I would suggest the S/4 HANA one, not ECC.
About programming - the C_TAW12_750 SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.50 is a good start, But I would spend time at https://developers.sap.com/
There are more than 1300 tutorials and that will give you a whole new idea about the programming framework in SAP. Learning how RAP, SCP, Cloud Foundry works will benefit you even if your objective is not to become a full stack consultant.
Of course, it all depends on what you want. But if I were wearing your shoes, I would start with the functional part and in parallel would develop the programming skills.
One thing is for sure, one (functional) will benefit from the other (programming).
Just make sure you focus one on thing at a time, so you can feel the progress and be successful

Hello and thx for your Answer. That are a good firstly tipps for me. I know The business process integration is not the best or needed training for my career. But I think it will be a first start for me.
And because of the procurement training.
The issue is, I have a voucher from the state. I live in germany and here I have the chance from the state to get a voucher for a SAP Training. But all the training centers in Germany are all about the ECC. All the trainings are about SAP MM,SD,PP User and Consulting Certifications. So i have not a chance to take a S4Hana, Fiori, UI5 and all the other new technologies for SAP. And because of that I must take my advantages from the coursea. I think I will do now firstly the course USER Certi at MM. Then Consulting MM. And if I have time enough I will look at the links and tutorials that you give. And at the parallel time I will reply for good SAP jobs. Sap Functional or develop i think that will come with the time.
