Dear PP Experts,

When I run Tcode CS14 for BOM comparison, there are 2 columns Comp. Qty (CUn) and Comp. Qty (BUn) in this report and I have no idea what is the difference of these 2 info. Need your expertise to advise on this, I am new in PP module.

When I checked CS03, the value of Comp. Qty (CUn) in CS14 is same as Component Qty in CS03. But the Comp. Qty (BUn) in CS14 has different value.

Thanks so much for your advice.

Hi bac.do

CS03 is used for displaying BOM.CS14 is used compared to materials BOM or alternative BOM.In the following screen on the RIGHT side, you can see components for FG228 material and on the LEFT side you can see components for FG129.Comp. Qty (CUn) 1 are components qty for FG129Comp. Qty (CUn) 2 are components qty for FG228Furthermore Comparison result for the individual item sign are here

Comparison result for the individual item

The item is the same in both BOMS

The item is only available in a BOM

The items differ in at least one value

Hi Raheel,

Thank you for your answer, however my concern is about the difference between 2 columns Comp. Qty (CUn) and Comp. Qty (BUn) in CS14 report . Do you know the logic that system is coming up the value of these 2 columns? For example, in below screenshot, I dont know why we have value 9 and 10 at Comp. Qty (BUn) column for both materials. I checked CS03 for these materials but still not get the logic that system is calculating Comp. Qty (BUn), the component quantity in CS03 is match with Qty (CUn) in CS14.
