What is a Company Specific Price List ?

Hi ByD pricing folks,

What is a Company Specific Price List in ByD?

Is it like a "company-specific base price", that would define base prices to customers per selling company?
Or is it used for Intercompany sales in case the selling company and buying company are in the same ByD tenant, and the pricing for the buying company is defined?

Unfortunately there is no documentation on that topic, so I hope one of you can help me out with this question.

Ans. Yes, let say u have 5 company in ByD and for 100 product u have different prices based on the company which are selling it to their customer.

2. Or is it used for Intercompany sales in case the selling company and buying company are in the same ByD tenant, and the pricing for the buying company is defined?

Ans. No.

Hi Manuel,

The Company Specific Price List business option allows you to create Price Lists which will influence the price of Transactional Documents like Sales Quotes, Sales Orders & Customer Invoices.

Or is it used for Intercompany sales in case the selling company and buying company are in the same ByD tenant, and the pricing for the buying company is defined? - YES , as well if you have your partner companies setup in ByDesign .

In simple words its base price list which will be active for specific company in the combination of customer. You will find the help material on this topic in ByD old upgrade documents . As this was offered somewhere is mid 2016 by SAP.
