Watermark of SAP DMS Originals while downloading the files from SAP PLM/ SAP ECTR

Hi All,

Good Morning.

I am facing a challenge with one of client requirement of SAP PLM Implementation:

The Requirement is While Downloading the originals(.dwg files, .pdf files) Mainly pdf files from S/4 HANA SAP DMS (PLMWEBUI, SAP ECTR) following (1,2) watermark details were needed in the Left side corner footer of the page based on the type of the document Restricted/Confidential (Which is configured using Class & Characteristics Concept).

1. Username

2. Date of download

Please let me know if there were any BADI's / BAPI's or any other solutions available to implement the above requirement.

You can use following options

1. DSC ECTR Conversion addon called as ++batchEngine.

2. SAP Visual Enterprise Generator for conversion

3. SEAL systems solutions

4. Cideon Conversion engine

I don't know about a Badl, but you can use the Cideon Conversion engine to do this.
