VF224 Error message while saving Billing Documents

Customer receives VF224 message when saving billing documents: Document '&' saved. Check number range. Long text:“Number range has reached a critical threshold”. The procedure on the error message instruct customer to maintain number range, however system does not allow customer to edit the pre delivered number ranges e.g: with prefix 19 which is assigned to the object RV_BELEG.

Within Cloud Systems nobody is allowed to change SAP pre delivered number range intervals.

This means if customer has only a few numbers left(or none) within number range interval 19, for example, they have two options to solve the issue:

1st Option: archive billing documents, so that they can start using number range 19 from the beginning on.

2nd Option: create their own number range and use Flexible Billing Document Numbering to assign this new number range to all billing types which have currently number range 19 assigned.
