Version Management for Sheduling agrrements

Hi,

I have make the customization of Version Management for external documents with below path

      SPRO-->IMG-->Purchasing-->Version management-->Set up for external purchase doc

      and make the relevant fields active like EKKPO- NETPR, EKPO AEDAT

      changes are recorded for newly created scheduling agreements(me31L) and it is working fine.

where i am facing a problem in existed scheduling agreement (ME32L)

    where i am going to change net price in old or existed scheduling agreement through ME32L.Version changes are not recorded. Simply it is saved  without asking version change.system not not promoting any error message to enter reason for change

i am facing below warning message

No new message created because a message not been transmitted."MESSAGE NO: MEDCM02"

could  you please provide some light to resolve my problem

Try to create new agreement and change the same .. As per my understanding you can not track changes in Old purchasing document which is not relevant for version or not subjected to version management before activation

And make sure you have chosen correct Doc Category and Document type with your purchase org. in customization

Hello  Ali,

Go to Transaction ME9L, Enter the PO number, Ensure the Application type EV for Purch.Outline Agr. and execute

Select the line item and finally click on Output message, go for print preview.

Which will solve your error--No new message is created because a message has not been transmitted.

After which it would go into Version Mgmt.

Often when you double click the message you will get long text, See whether it helps. Also isn't it No new Version created  instead of no new Message created

The message number you posted is not correct, a message number is 3 digits long.

MEDCM is the message class, but 02 is not a valid number. Please post correct number along with the message text, make it convenient for the people who shall help you

Sorry, for the incorrect message no.

Message no:MEDCM027

No new message is created because a message has not been transmitted.

Sheduling aggrement is created,saved,released.Now after release we want to change Sheduling

aggrement then new version should be created.

check if the existing message was outputted, if not then print it and try then your change.

You could also try to add the message for the output of the original document manually and printing it. After that try you change again.

If that does not help then check OSS note 1611769 - Output message for application EL not considered for version
