valuation Type removal

Hi experts ,

I need your suggestion on valuation type removal from material master .

we have valuation type active for more tha 1 lac materials , now we want to remove the valuation category or deactive valuation type .

please suggest the impact on transaction data in MM/SD or other Modules if any . As its critical to remove the valuation type for existing

transactions.

As i know the process, stock to be 0 , open order must be marked deletion indiactor.

Please advice beat way .
