VAKEY operation used in PCR to refers to custom ABAP code

Could you assist me with understanding the custom VAKEY operation details in the SAP payroll PCR that need modification according to our business requirements? It was authored by another consultant, and I find it challenging to grasp how the VAKEY operation is delineated for custom calculations, particularly referencing some ABAP code. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Could someone please assist me here in understanding the operation VAKEY in the PCR below? Where these BONUS and BONU2 are defined whether in the form of objects or ABAP program.

1 - For any Payroll related query, it could be helpful to provide the Country code since some Payroll Functions and Operations differ from one Country code to an other.

2 - Without looking in the system, I would think that the variable key BONUS and BONU1 are custom code.
