Transfer Purchase Order History when material ledger is active in S/4 HANA

Our customer has a project to migrate to SAP S4/HANA.

The conversion approach that was adopted is as follows:

1/ Brownfield conversion of the legacy ECC system, though the material ledger is set active automatically in S/4 HANA.

2/ Applicative Data deletion

3/ Data migration for all relevant objects including Purchase Orders Histories

Problem:

Migrated purchase orders histories are not take intoaccount by Material Ledger startup. These purchase orders are not usable anymore and we are facing inconsistencies between tables MLWERE, MLBECR, EKBE...

We are facing error messages whenever dealing with those POs ( For example: GR via MIGO )

ð PO History is missing ( data is missing in table MLWERE for the corresponding PO in table EKBE) when it is loaded with report RM06EEI1

For this purpose, SAP has provided the report FCMLHELP_COMPARE_PO_HISTORY. This report may help to correct inconsistencies for our issue but it is reserved for SAP support only as mentionned in SAP NOTE 3391713 - INFO: How to use report FCMLHELP_COMPARE_PO_HISTORY.

Could you help us to resolve our issue ? What is your recommandation ?

Hello sdjemel7

Run the report FCMLHELP_COMPARE_PO_HISTORY in test mode. Then report the inconsistencies to SAP support with a new issue - https://me.sap.com/createIssue/0/overview

As SAP support reserves the right to use the report in update mode, let them do that and fix the inconsistencies for you.

Best regards
