Transaction Code PRAA dynamic date entry is not working for background Job

Hello ALL,

Transaction code PRAA for below radio button selection i created a dynamic selection in order to run this program in background mode. But when i execute this system is not considering the dynamic date and considering all employees (blank date), could you suggest how to handle this situation.

Employee changes are made with effective from past, present and future days, hence we opted to choose this option rather next radio button option (Change acc. to HR Master Rec.. only changes that became valid today)

D for current date only works in PNP selection screen, not for field AEDTM, I'm afraid

HR team changes employees and effective date can be past date , present date or future date, in this case to run PRAA and pass these changes to vendor master what would be idle selection to capture all three changes made in a day and copy over to employee vendors.

you could debug report RPRAPA00 and check your dynamic variant. It should work in forground too, shouldn't it?

Or you create a small report that sets the date dynamically and submits report RPRAPA00 with this parameter.

Thank you for response.system is not considering D = current date in variant when executed in foreground. Is this some bug in this program or do we need to raise it to SAP service for correction note?

also i will check with abap to see if it can be quickly corrected.
