Hi,

When going to MD04 when applying the filter key 2 options show up. The Dipl. Filter and the Selection Rule. When going into MD06 only one option shows up the Displ. Filter. The selection rule does not show up. Would it be possible to have the option in MD06 to have a Selection rule?

Please let me know how can we add selection rule field in MD06/MD05

MD04

MD06

Hello,

Please refer SAP KBA on it,

2886668 - Different results in MD04 and MD06 when using the filter option

MD04 and MD06 have different types of filtering options.

Both filtering options have customizing, so they can differ from each other depending on the option selected ("Display filter" or "Selection rule").

To access this customizing, you can follow the path below in transaction SPRO:

Production -> Material Requirements Planning -> Evaluation -> Filter -> Define Display Filter

Production -> Material Requirements Planning -> Evaluation -> Filter -> Define Selection Rule

Thanks Paulo for your reply....

I checked the documentation and checked the configuration, But didn't find the solution.

"Selection rule" and "Displ. filter" is working fine in MD04 tcode.

If you see the screen shot of MD06 above given , "Displ filter is also working fine. But "Selection rule" field is not there.

Requirement is to get this field into MD06 screen to further filter.

In setting, I have selected the "Access with Filter" , But it is only showing "Display Filter" in the MD06 screen.

Hello Tarun,

apparently this configuration is standard and I didn't find any SAP note for this, but you can see in documentation (SPRO) the system defines this filter as: "you define specific business views in selection rules for all the information in the stock/requirements list", that is, just for stock/requirements list (MD04) not for MRP list (MD05/MD06).

This configuration make sense if you think that the selection rules settings must be work just for the real situation from stock or requirements, and not for MRP list with informations of the past which displays results of last MRP run for the material.

Hello Tarun,

you need to customizing in spro, in transactions OM0I for selection rule and OM0J filter.

see more in documentation spro: Production > Material Requirements Planning > Evaluation > Filter
