T - code : SPRO_ADMIN problem

Dear All,

We are using the SAP ECC 6.0 insurance module .

I have problem in assigining authorization T- Code : SPRO . Atually i want to give the user to acess particular path

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > SAP Insurance > Collections/Disbursements " but the user should not be able to acess

the remaining items in SPRO

I have tried to create the project from T-Code : SPRO_ADMIN , & have assigned this project to a role , but when we see by

login that all the contents inside the SPRO can be accessed by the user .

Below are the steps which have done for creation of Porject :

1. In the T-Code : SPRO_ADMIN , created the new project

2. Under the tab Scope , clicked on the Specify Scope & have given the path .

3. Then i saved it . & assigned this project to a role .

Kindly suugest how to resolve thi issue .

Most of the links from Spro navigates to transaction codes SM30/SM31 to maintain table entries. You need to check authorizaiton given on object S_TABU_DIS. Basically to minimize them to least acess, you need to trace and execute all the links/area to which you want to provide access.

However, ths doesn't guarantee that user might not get access to other nodes as tables are grouped + user might need access to other tables for performing other actions.
