Some items are missing in Launchpad for SAP S/4Hanan cloud

When log into the SAP S/4Hana cloud trail, all I see are the business related items, Project Management, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable etc.

Under Extensibility, I only see one item: Custom Field and Logic. Where the other stuff for developers: Custom Business Objects, Custom CDS Views and Query Desgin?

Please note: I am not on normal SAP S/4Hana clound, it is TRIAL only. Do I need take some extra steps to unlock them?

Hello George,

unfortunately we could not make the other apps for extensibility available to trial users. The background is that these are key user tools (like customizing, master data maintenance) which could impact other trial users or the whole system. As the S/4HANA Cloud Trial is a shared system we had to limit the acces to those tools which you currently see.

Hi George,

do you mean you registered for https://www.sap.com/cmp/oth/crm-s4hana/s4hana-cloud-erp-trial.html ? If so you're not authorized to change something like user roles because of the impact to other users.

To access apps like "Maintain Business Roles" and so on you need for example the role SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR, which you would only have in your own environment.

Thanks Tobias for quick answer! They are not in app finder.

Since this is trial version, where I could find the admin side of thing to check my role etc? I think since SAP S/4Hana cloud is a big software, they might cut some part to let people to try? I am more interested in the developer side of things.

Hi George,

all these Apps are included in the Extensibility Catalog SAP_CORE_BC_EXT.

If your role has this catalog included you should be able to see them.

Are you able to find them in the App Finder?
