Should I update materail master after MRP area customize

Hi Expert,

We're doing ECC conversion to HANA.

Regarding PP area, as there is storage loaction MRP was used in ECC,
so I activated MRP area and created new MRP area for storage location.
after ran the report MRP_AREA_STORAGE_LOC_MIGRATION,
there has been no error.

The question is :
At the moment storage location MRP is still in material mater MRP4 view
and I haven't set MRP area in MRP1 view.
should I set MRP area manually in MRP1 view for all materail mater?
Or it will be updated automatically after conversion?
If I should set manually how do I get the list of material mater as there has been no error in MRP_AREA_STORAGE_LOC_MIGRATION, I cannot know which one was affected

Hello

Whenever you run report MRP_AREA_STORAGE_LOC_MIGRATION with the flag Test Mode unchecked, it should remove the MRP storage location indicator from table MARD and generate the MRP Area assignments into the material master.

Hello Chao, If material needs to be excluded or included from MRP below fields must be set automatically if it exists with MRP area in material master. I hope MRP would have been created during data migration ECC to S/4.

Excluded from MRP will be carrying ND MRP type and other will carry PD as regular.
