Search option for filters in Query made from custom CDS view S/4 Hana Cloud

Hello,

I created a query from a Custom CDS view for material master data and in this query, I have defined the required filters such as 'X-distr.chain status' and 'DChain-spec. status'.

For the two fields I am using the following paths in my CDS:

X-distr.chain status ---> _I_ProductSalesDelivery._Product.SalesStatus

DChain-spec. status-----> _I_ProductSalesDelivery.ProductSalesStatus

But in the query, I see a difference when I click on the 'search' icon for the two fields. for 'X-distr.chain status' it gives a list of entries to search and select which are maintained in the system but for 'DChain-spec. status' does not give any list of entries it simply gives me an option to enter the value manually.

Am I missing something?

My understanding is for the field 'DChain-spec. status' no entries are being returned when using

the CDS view I_ProductSalesDelivery

Is the field 'DChain-spec. status' maintained in the Manage Product Master Data app / Create Material / Change Material app for materials on your system ?

Is the results also blank when using the app Export Master Data to retrieve the same information

for the table MVKE ? ( The table accessed by I_ProductSalesDelivery )
