when using CDS Views with parameters, the transaction SE16H can prompt parameters of the underlying CDS View.
However this is only possible as long as the DDL (DDLS) and the CDS (STOB) are of identical technical names. Like I_InventoryPriceByKeyDate for the DDL and CDS. However when using the old CDS Views it is possible that the DDL and CDS can have different technical names like YY1_DDL_InventoryPriceByKeyDate and YY1_CDS_InventoryPriceByKeyDate. Now when trying to run the CDS View with parameters in SE16H the transaction cannot bind the parameters as a parser error occurs. The issue can be found in function module SE16N_CDS_SELECT_PREPARE.
I know that according to SAP Note 3105432 - CO-OM Tools: CDS views on transactions SE16N and SE16H CDS Views are not fully supported by SE16H and SE16N. But does any one know if the transaction is maintained and further enhancements are implemented?
