Scrap Sales Process using SD

Dear Expertise, 

We do have scrap sales process in our project, could someone please update how the step process would work in sales through S4hana public cloud edition. 

Process and configuration step to be mapped or any blog can help us to implement. 

This the related to S4hana public cloud edition.

Hello Prabhat .  Please see the below relevant information on how to set up scrap for a material.

Material Documents Overview app will provide the details on material document and posting the stock changes.  This process enables you to scrap a material if you cannot use it any more. A reason might be a reduced quality due to a long storage time.

In sales. As a returns and refund clerk,  you can choose Follow-up activity "0002 Immediately Move to Free Available Stock" and Follow-up activity "0003 Immediately Move to Scrap" to Immediate return ( allow Post Goods Receipt immediately) so that return product can be Immediately Move to Free Available Stock.

SAP enable Follow-up activity "0002 Immediately Move to Free Available Stock"  and Follow-up activity "0003 Immediately Move to Scrap", so that we can choose the follow up on Follow up activity page in Edit Manage Customer Return App. Link to documentation https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/a376cd9ea00d476b96f18dea1247e6a5/0902ec5653ed017ee1000000...

 

Once Follow-up activity "0002 Immediately Move to Free Available Stock" 

OR

Follow-up activity "0003 Immediately Move to Scrap" was selected, the flag "Product Received" will be ticked automatically, and Inspection Result should be mandatory input.

 Returns Refund Clerk will review Seller received customer’s complaint 
    Returns Refund Clerk - Create Return Order
LFU 0001 – Receive into Plant
Product Received = blank
Next Follow Up Activity
Ship to Supplier
Transfer to Available Stock
Transfer to Scrap
Inspection Code
Automatic Inspection = ‘X’
4.  Generate Returns Delivery

Whether it is on-premise or Cloud, there should not be any impact on any business process.  Having said that, first try configuring the business process, test it and share if any specific issue you have
