I am a member of a small pilot group that is testing SAP GUI 7.60. We are currently on ECC EhP6. Soon after I upgraded, I tested SAPPDFPRINT 7.50 Patch Level 1 and found that it no longer worked. I searched the SAP Support Portal and found Note 2772220. It says that “PDFPRINT 760 for SAP GUI for Windows 7.60 is not yet available.” Furthermore, the Note says that “SAP GUI for Windows 7.50 Patch 7 and PDFPRINT 7.50 Patch 1 constitute the last working combination.” I have found this to not be true. We are in the process of testing EhP8 in our sandbox. I have found that SAPPDFPRINT 7.50 Patch Level 1 works with SAP GUI 760 in the sandbox client where we have EhP8 applied.
I thought that this was important information to pass along because if we were not able to use SAPPDFPRINT with SAP GUI 7.60, this would be a show-stopper to upgrading our SAP GUI. We use SAPPDFPRINT for saving multiple Affordable Care Act 1095-C forms, Compensation Statements, and Appraisal documents to a single file.
