SAP License Clarification for Two Different Localization in Same Server

Dear Experts,

Good Day...

I need your suggestions for SAP License, My one of customer is using SAP 10 Hana and which is hosted in cloud. They have two Companies one is in Qatar and another one company is in France. We already using SAP in Qatar location and using Local Settings of UK International/Republic of Ireland. Now we are going to implement SAP for France Localization in same server but both users are entirely different.

My concern is,

I have to purchase separate license for France Localization ? and I can install both in same server, So both will work properly ?

OR

I have to purchase SAP Global License which will work for both different Localization ?

Please leave your suggestion and solution which is best way to move forward.

Hi rajan_clrs,

You are using SAP Business One with multiple different Localizations, therefore you require a Global (Worldwide) License.

As of SAP Business One 8.8, the license is localization specific.

In order to be able to access and create SAP Business One companies in all localizations supported by SAP Business One, you require a Global License. This license is mainly for large customers who have branches in multiple countries, and that require constant access to the different SAP Business One companies in the different localizations. The localization is determined based upon the country version requested in the online order form. If you want to order a global (Worldwide) license, you must verify with either your Channel Solution Manager upfront at order entry or a SAP Local Product Expert (LPE) or Solution Expert, but not when requesting a license key via the Service Market Place.

Refer to SAP Note 1487586 for the same.

Kind regards,

Dear Ankit,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I understand your explanation and thank you. I need one more clarification in this, As of now SAP is live in Qatar with Localization UK International/Republic of Ireland. So If I purchase the global license and install into SAP, It will not affect the existing live database right ?

Thanking You.
