Content has been created in our workareas. Is there an automated policy where we get notified that the content needs to be reviewed as it has been x amount of months/years since it was created?

There is no functionality in Enable Now to automatically inform you about content that should be checked but you can run a report that allows you to export the details of all content objects in a Workarea, including the date of creation and the date of late modification. You could then sort the content in a spreadsheet, by modification date, and determine what content to focus on.
To extract this detail into a 3rd party reporting tool, such as PowerBI, use the URL:

The text highlighted in red should be replaced with the details of your Enable Now system.
