SAP EAM - create a notification from a notification

Greetings,

I am trying to create a maintenance notification from a maintenance notification. I am aware of action box functionality and I have created an activity based on function module QM06_FM_TASK_CREATE_QM_NOTIFIC.

The notification is not created and the system does not return any errors. In fact it actually returns a success message.

I assume that there is a problem with the function module since I am trying to use QM function module for a EAM process.

I was wondering if there is a standard function module which is equivalent to QM06_FM_TASK_CREATE_QM_NOTIFIC but used for EAM processes. If there isn't then i think there is no other choice but to copy and modify the QM one.

Hello,

I have faced the same problem today.
In my case it actually was an authorization problem with the workflow user.

After trying to create the notification through the activity, check SU53 for the users SAP_WFRT or WF-Batch.
For me the problem was missing authorization of user SAP_WFRT

After adjusting the authorization it worked properly.
