SAP DI API Slower in 8.8 PL18 than in 2007...

Hi,

I would like to know if someone have an idea on this

We did migrate a customer from 2007 to 8.8 PL18 HOTFIX1

We have a service that transfers DELIVERIES to INVOCIES and prior to the migration it was prety fast but since the migration, when I debug on the line ARInvoice.Add(), it freezes there for several seconds sometimes it goes over a minute long, 5% of the time it's 1 second but I'm wondering why 95% of the time it tops at 1 minute which is way too long.

Was the system also migrated to new hardware ? If so check the hard disk configuration.

Also, did you migrate to MS SQL Server 2008 or did you stay with 2005 ? If you stayed with 2005, I am told that upgrading to 2008 should speed things up.
