Hi there.
In this specific version, I restore a backup with another name to test and test the data, but when I want to access it it won't let me, it gives me an error that the connection with the database was lost ODBC-1102 Message [131- 183]
Do we have to fiddle with the users of the database that version 10.0 puts in and cause a mess when restoring or do something special to create a test of a productive one?
SQL+Version 10.0 FP2308
Thank you
Hi,
On MS SQL Server, I have created several test databases from backups of our production system. Generally speaking I do it in MS SQL Server Management Studio:

Hi meqs,
Nothing has changed to my knowledge. I use this method regularly with version 10.
The only difference I have noticed is that when you delete a test database, and create a new one with the same name, the B1 system will not recognize it. I have solved this problem by naming my test databases like this: TEST[YYYYMMDD] so for example TEST20231212

Until version 9.3 it did so, without problem.
but in 9.10 it gets involved with the permissions of the users that the system inserts and I cannot access it, something does not like the sbo-common access system
If in version 10.0 FP2308 you do that without further ado... I would like to know how, because it is impossible, if you do not touch the user permissions in the sld
