SAP Business ByDesign . Error in webservice Manage Sales Orders

Hello everyone .

Apologies if there is an issue with clarity in my question, i am new to ByDesign and have been trying to test some Soap webservices to prepare for an integration. What i have done is imported the Manage Sales Order In webservice wsdl to Postman for testing, and I have been running into an error when receiving a post response .

In Postman i get the following response when i send the request

<soap-env:Body>

<soap-env:Fault>

<faultcode>soap-env:Server</faultcode>

<faultstring xml:lang="en">Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20210907105827; Transaction ID 00163EC0BE771EDC83F950F2F851DA4C) </faultstring>

<detail/>

</soap-env:Fault>

The Business Communication Monitor in ByDesign under Rejected webservice call gives me the following error,

"The detailed error description may not be available in logon language: System expected end of element '{http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal20/Global}SalesOrderBundleMaintainRequest_sync'"

Can anyone give me any advice on what exactly is happening here or how to overcome this error? once again i apologise for any unclarity in my question.

Best regards,

Hi Kathrin

Thank you for your reply. Yes i double checked the communication arrangement and "Manage Sales Orders" is on the list of services. within the communication arrangement i have about five other services and when i test them they dont have this error.

Hi Roberto,

in this case it would be best if you create an incident. You should included the payload for the SOAP Request and SOAP Response. We can then analyse the payload and system to check the exact error.

with kind regards,

Kathrin
