sales office is missing

Hello experts,

I am creating sales order, in the sales order i am not getting sales office,

I maintained sales office and i assigned to sales area, still i am not getting in order.

i need to maintain any where or please guide me. it should be mandatory field.

This issue is very urjent.

Please help me for this.

Dear Akshiitha,

You need to maintain sales office in ES and you need to assign sales office to sales area. After this assignment you need to maintain this sales office in customer master in sales area data - sales tab.

After that try to create sales order, value of sales office  will populate from customer master record to sales order @ header level.

Please check below mentioned step for your issue.

1. Please check sale office assignment with your sales area.

2. Please check your customer master data

    

These two steps are correct the sales office auto determine in your sales order.

Nicely explained with the help of screenshots!

Could you please check if only one sales group is assigned to a sales office, and this sales office is put in a CMR (customer master record) then would the sales group automatically populate in the CMR or this has to be done manually by the user / Data maintenance team?

If maintain in the CMR so that case sales group automatically populate in sales order but not populate in CMR. This has done manually by data maintenance team.

Hi,

Apart from the above comments please also do the following things to optimize your config;

i need to maintain any where or please guide me. it should be mandatory field.

Step 1 - Please make the field mandatory in customer master sales view.To do this go to OBD2 select the Account group go to details tab and the double click on Sales data & sales and make the changes.

Step 2 - Make the Incompletion procedure for the sales document type in OVA2 add the able VBAK and field VKBUR and save.

This way no one can create a customer without Sales office also nobody will create a sales order without Sales office.

You can choose the Incompletion status as per your need.

Suman, Akshitha,

Before making sales office mandatory in CMR; I would suggest you to get the approval from your client / business.

Further, business should also provide what are the customer account groups for which the above setting should be done.

Simply going and doing such type of changes, in real time scenario is not advisable!

Note: If this is practice (and in IDES) then...do whatever...to enhance your learning!

Hi,

Please check your customer master sales area tab-sales maintain the sales office  there, then try create a order & then check in the header data the required field will appear. Thanks Sukant Chakraborthy

Hi,

Sales office will come from customer master sold to party.

please check in Customer master >Sales area> sales tab whether sales office is maintained or not.

if its not there please maintain and create sales order.
