S4HANA 2021 Production Build Approach

Hello Experts,

We are doing a S4HANA implementation. Initially we started with S4HANA 2020. We built DEV Box then best practices activation and then build QA systems and imported the 2020 transports

Due to critical requirement we planned a S4HANA 2021 upgrade. We need to know from experts which approach is best for building the Production.

Option1: build from TS1 2021 (without data, config only),

Option2: Install Prod PS1 with 2020, install best practices, 2020 transports, upgrade to 2021, 2021 transports.

As a basic summary the safest and most prudent course of action is to set a parallel track for the upgrade so that BAU can continue unhindered with a refresh from product and a delta alignment for cutover and system freeze window.
