Returns to Supplier of Consignment

Hi everyone,

we're implementing both scope item Supplier Consignment (2LG) and Return to Supplier (BMK). However, the test scripts and documentation do not explain the process of returning consignment materials back to the vendor. Where could I find the process to do a Returns to Supplier from Consignment stock? Thanks!

Hello zoranc7700,

I couldn't find any scope item for return of the consignment stock to supplier as such, but consignment PO is nothing but a normal PO which contains items that are used for consignment fill-up. Hence for returns you can choose any of the below option as mentioned in the below link;

Note: If the supplier consignment is in your stock, then it has to be returned using movement type 122 for Consignment PO. But if the stock is issued to production line and then you have to return using movement type 161 after making return PO. Refer to the below standard KBA for relevant movement types for vendor consignment stock (K);

Hi Vijayendra, thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, SAP Cloud doesn't support returns of consignment stock using mvt type 161, I opened a ticket and SAP confirmed it's not supported. Doing it via mvt type 122 is possible though but requires users to find the original material document and use it to do the return, which is a workaround to the actual process.
