Hi all,
I have material master records that have been flagged for deletion at the client level, but not have been archived yet as the delete and archive job hasn't run.
These materials have Info Records in the system that have not been deleted. Can someone please tell me what happens to these Info Records once the materials have been archived? Will the Info Records still exist in the system and do they need to be manually deleted?

Hello Nicole Smith,
If you mark deletion indicator on material and Purchase Info record not deleted then nothing would be happened as itself it's a master data. If you try to create purchase order for that material and vendor system will not allowed to create it and showing hard stop error that material has deletion indicator.

Hello Nicole,
It's a purely business decision they need to keep it in system or not. But yes it's taking space in database. So if business decide to delete then before deleting be ensure and cross check no documents will be open with reference to these info records.
If not deleted it would not affect anything on transactions..
