Validation for Ledger is not working.

Hi All,

We have built a validation for Ledger but it is not working.i tired to check validation rule and everything looks good.

Requirement is as follows.

we have few company codes where those are not allowed to post for a certain ledger if those company codes try to post it to certain Gl accounts..So i have written a validation and tried testing but still is not working.

If anyone came across this scenario then please provide ur inputs.

Well, when you ask a question like this, it would be useful to provide the validation and explain what exactly is 'not working', don't you think?

Thanks for suggestion.

i have written a validation but that is not calling during financial document posting.i have also checked validation assignment for company code and it is assgined.Also i had gone through Validation and it looks good.

Please see below validation rule which i have written and let me know if i am missing

Prerequisite: Company Code IN CC(SET) AND G/L IN GL(SET)

Check:Ledger Group <> 'XX'

Message:1 Series GL can only post to XX Ledger for XX CC Codes

This is how i have written the validation.Post validation i have tested the scenario's in FB01Lm,FB50L but this validation is not giving any error even though i have posted for XX ledger with 1 series Gl account.

So could you please provide your inputs..
