I want to get to know about SAP MM, but in every tutorials I can see another transactions

MM01/MM02 - There is more views and fields. Look at below

I work on PE0 - ECC (Retail, Finance, Human Ressource). Is anybody can explain what is it. And what are the differences between. Am I working on MM module?

What areas should I focus on and what should I learn to develop as a master data specialist?

Hi Vaselina Peykova,

Thank you for your answer. I think I understand these differences. I've worked with SAP Retail over 1 year. I do not know what should I fill in my CV. Retail is a mix of MM and SD. So, do you think I can enter basic knowledge of MM/SD or maybe good knowledge of SAP Retail? or good knowledge of SAP Retail and basic knowledge of SAP MM(because I'm studing it)

Unfortunately I do not know which of these component using my future and new (i hope) employer. Below its requirements:

  • Setting/updating and verifying data in SAP Master Data (in vendor/ customer / material and financial master data: prices, price conditions, etc);
  • Ensuring compatibility and correctness of data ;
  • Preparation of exchange rates and other financial data (Internal orders, Cost Centres, and GL accounts);
  • Optimization and coordination of internal Master Data processes and procedures to improve business processes;
  • Communication and coordination of group standards in the field of Master Data ;
  • Providing Internal Controls ;
  • Supporting ad-hoc reports requests

    any ideas?
