Project Nature - SAP S/4HANA Migration

Scenario - Where an incorrect field value has been loaded, the record is created in S/4HANA but needs to be re-loaded with the corrected value. Duplicate entries get created.

Please consider that we have inter-dependent data objects in the SAP S/4HANA Migration project.

- How do we reload the data without duplicating it?

- Is there any solution available which can be used in SAP Data Migration Project.

For your information - Data Load Tools/Routines are using

1. SAP Migration Cockpit

2. SAP LSMW

3. SAP Customize ABAP Program

Hi Shamik

Your question is very generic?. Every object has to be handled differently. Same solution cannot be applied for material master, BP, PO or SO. Be specific at the object level.

1) Which object you are facing this

2) is it excel file upload or direct system access or staging table?

3) Which version of S/4 HANA, 1909, 2020, 2021. Based on the version the approach might also change.

It would be highly appreciated if you had any solution for the above scenario.

1.Mainly, I am looking for most of the SAP EAM objects like equipment, functional location, work centre, BOM for EQ and FL, and task list. from the rest of the modules: business partners and contracts that are in scope.

2.LTMC and LSMW are used for the majority of file uploads (.xml or.xlsx).

3.S/4HANA ON-PRIMISE 2021
