FSG for F110

Hi Experts,

I need your guidance on Field Status Group in F110 (APP).

I have created a GL account and assigned a FSG (Text required entry). When i post the transaction to the GL system is not allowing me to save the entry without keeping the blank in text field, since it is a required entry.

When I use the same GL in APP (F110).. system is generating a entry by keeping text field blank..Could you please assist me to understand why F110 is ignoring the field status?

Hi

This is SAP Standard Behaviour. APP F110 ZP payments will not generate text field. After payment run in F110, we can enter the text manually in FBL1N one by one (if the texts are different) or we can use Mass change option in FBL1N to enter the text after selecting the required line items (if the texts are same). We can also go for LSMW or BDC for the same to speed it up.

I have a question here, hope we are not defining or controlling text field properties for a line item at document types level. Then how the system is ignoring the FSG properties that was maintained in GL Master?

Hi,

I think there is no control for line item text in document type. Document Type will have only control for header text. But Posting Keys will have line item controls.

As you know both FSG and PK fields are same.

Yes, I agree with you for field control at document posting we can do it posting keys and/or FSG level.. but where is the setting that prompts F110 to ignore the FSG properties.

my question is : Why the text field is blank for the line item generated through APP, though it is a required entry as per GL master FSG?
