COR1 process order expired material batch

hi,

while creating process order using cor1 , we enter material batch using 'Material' button in the header.

Now the requirement is , If we enter a batch with Shelf Life Exp. Date in the past , the sytem should throw an error message that batch is expired.

Is there any standard way of doing this , any pointers would help..

We have recently implemented  the note 1671443 for batches.

Regards,

Chandan

Dear,

Go to MSC2N or MSC5N and change the Shelf Life Exp. date of your batch. Then you use same batch in your process order.

Dear,

In this case move the expire batches to block stock. You can use deadline stock monitoring, you can send these batches to block stock through quality process also QA05 and QA07.

Also in OMCQ define message M7 210 and 214 as error message.
